Richard has successfully delivered a broad range of public sector and healthcare assignments for over 20 years. These involved defining strategy in tandem with designing and implementing large-scale IT-enabled change. He is a qualified project and programme management expert.
Currently, Richard and his team are leading a successful programme of work to connect health systems in Yorkshire and Humber as one of 5 NHS Local Health and Care Record Exemplars (LHCRE).
His strength and passion lies in forming trusted relationships with stakeholders, and moulding multidisciplinary teams to achieve ambitious goals. He provides stable and dynamic leadership to create a culture where people are motivated to deliver their best in often challenging circumstances.
Under his leadership the programme has delivered an innovative population shared record solution and shared patient records in Humber, Coast and Vale.

Richard sits on the Board of Leeds Community Healthcare Trust as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Business Committee. The insight gained from this responsibility enables him to understand the needs of NHS trusts in a unique manner.
Penny is an accomplished advisor with global experience of leading major transformation programmes in the public sector, including central and local government. Her leadership skills are highly valued by clients who utilise them to develop and strengthen teams and maximise the delivery of large and complex programmes.
Penny has an impressive track record of building trusted relationships with senior leadership and clients to ensure successful delivery and realisation of benefits. She has a wide range of technical specialities and is a member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM). She is experienced with all aspects of programme management and assurance to deliver transformational change. She has established and led large complex programmes across multiple years and to a budget of £8Bn.
Penny spent over ten years at Deloitte Consulting in the Programme Leadership practice advising clients predominately in the public sector and health. Prior to Deloitte she had a career in Local Government.
More recently she has undertaken contracts at NHS Digital, Defra and DCMS delivering a range of outcomes including development of the Portfolio Office and assurance framework at NHS Digital, supporting interventions as part of the EU Exit Portfolio Office at Defra and supporting the delivery of the Gigabit Programme at BDUK within DCMS.
Until recently Emma was a form teacher in a local primary school. With a career of over ten years in the education sector, she has developed strong organisational, planning, personal and data management skills. These skills are well matched to the set up, marketing and day to day running requirements of Verbena Digital.
In Emma's early career, she worked for Coopers & Lybrand and supported several Partners and Directors in practice management and business development activities.
Rosey is a programme leader and advisor with extensive experience of helping organisations design, plan and deliver major, complex digital and business transformation programmes.
Rosey has an impressive track record of programme delivery in central government, delivering solutions to some of governments greatest challenges. Most recently, this has included Defra’s COVID 19 response and EU Exit preparations at Defra, HMRC and DIT.
Rosey has a proven ability to mobilise programmes at pace, design effective programme architecture using waterfall, agile and hybrid methods and build high performing teams. Rosey operates, influences and negotiates at senior levels, collaborates with diverse internal and external stakeholders and leads dispersed teams to deliver.
Rosey previously spent 12 years as a management consultant in EY’s programme transformation advisory business, predominately serving public sector clients. In her earlier career Rosey worked in change and project management roles in aerospace and manufacturing engineering sectors.
Andrew has significant experience in organisational transformation, often working with central government and the NHS to deliver critical projects and business transformation.
Andrew recent projects include working on Brexit, COVID-19, as well as delivering £bn projects with the Home Office and UK Export Finance.
With the health sector, Andrew regular works with leading NHS and Harley Street healthcare organisations to redesign and deliver an enhanced (technology based) operating model.
Andrew also spent five years at Fidelity Venture Capital focusing on biotech and healthcare innovation, working with leading providers like Circle Health and UnitedHealth.
Melinda has been advising on large, complex, transformational IT and business change programmes for over 20 years. She has worked across a range of government Departments in the criminal justice, health and welfare sectors in the UK and has also supported development programmes in the Middle East, Nigeria and Sudan.
Her specialist skills include all aspects of project, programme and business change management and she has extensive experience of stakeholder management. Melinda has a strong track record of delivery and her problem-solving skills mean that she is able to translate complex requirements into practical and effective solutions. Melinda’s excellent communication skills mean that she can successfully operate at all levels within an organisation and build strong and lasting relationships.
Melinda is ACMA qualified, security cleared and a PRINCE 2 accredited project manager. Melinda has completed Cranfield’s Project Leadership Programme, the IPA supported programme for leaders in government and is currently undertaking FED training.
After a 20 year career working at major consulting firms including PwC, PA Consulting, Atos and Deloitte, Melinda has been an independent adviser for 4 years delivering 11 Infrastructure and Operation projects of the Courts Reform Programme at HMCTS. Melinda has recently led BDUK’s Digital Transformation Programme and is currently Chief of Staff to the Exec Chair and SRO.
